Endorsements & Recognitions

Advocaat Schroeder (the “Firm”) is pleased to have advised Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (“GTCo”) on the acquisition of the entire shares of Investment One Funds Management Limited (“IOFM”) and Investment One Pension Mangers Limited (“IOPM”), the mutual fund and pension subsidiaries of Investment One Financial Services Limited, respectively.

The effect of this acquisition is that both IOFM and IOPM would become wholly-owned subsidiaries of GTCo and significantly advances GTCo’s ambitious expansion into non-banking operations, in accordance with its corporate strategy to offer its customers a variety of services within the financial services value chain.

According to the Group CEO of GTCo, Mr. Boris Wills, the acquisition provides the holding company with the opportunity of becoming a one-stop shop for financial services and products that will empower its customers and will create distribution channels for wealth solutions for both institutional and retail clients.
